There are several free tools available that can do this, but each tool is tailored to a specific format or set of file formats. As there are several popular content formats in use today, ExpressPlay recommends three primary tool sets for use with ExpressPlay (the ExpressPlay Packaging Tools), one for each major content format:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"margin-left:25px\">\n<li><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bento4.com\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Bento4 Tools<\/a> for DASH, Smooth and MP4<\/li>\n<li><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/developer.apple.com\/streaming\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Apple HLS Tools<\/a> for HTTP Live Streaming<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/es\/developer\/packaging\/\">ExpressPlay TS Tools<\/a> for BBTS (Marlin-specific format)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>ExpressPlay also offers a ready made content encryption module that runs as a plugin to your Wowza Streaming Server.
